The heart of Mowbray Links is the community centre - the perfect place for a chat with new friends or to relax in the library. Alternatively, there is a computer room with internet access, and the community notice board, which list the various organised activities from indoor bowls to day trips.

The social club is very active and as well as organising the annual Village Fair, arrange bridge tournaments and other regular events. In addition, the management and staff are available to assist with planning recreational programs.

Within the community centre, you will also find a well-equipped gym, a hair dressing salon, and a surround sound home theatre with a huge cinema-style screen.

Mowbray Links is situated near the University of Tasmania, offering you an opportunity to pursue an educational activity. Mowbray Links is also less than an hour from a number of beaches and mountain getaways, and the world famous Cataract Gorge.
